Score: Six out of ten.
Is it me or have I seen something like this before? I saw Dress Coded circling my recommendations till I finally saw it in a library and decided to pick it up. I glanced at the blurb, noticing similarities with another flawed and okay novel called Does My Body Offend You, and I felt the same way when I closed the final page of Dress Coded.

This is a wonderful story about 8th-grader Molly Frost supporting girls and their bodies. Fisher Middle School is overrun with dress code policing and the girls are just plum tired of it. Molly starts a podcast and instagram to draw attention to the issue. The story is full of different body shapes, body acceptance, and other topics of female identified and physically female bodies. This was such a hopeful and inspiring story about what young people are capable of. This is definitely worth the read!
