On paper I should like this book, in reality I kept getting pulled out of it. This book's writing was beautiful and had wonderful metaphors and symbolism going on (that mostly went over my head from covid brainfog but what can you do?). I can't say I enjoyed the subject matter or the characters much. I know our main character was on a ✨healing journey✨ but I found it all very tedious.
