The pacing of this retelling is incredibly fast particularly in the first story. I felt whisked away from plot to plot and not in a great way. This seemed to ease off throughout the stories of the knights of the round table and the other 2 stories and were paced much better by comparison.
I really enjoyed the knights stories of chivalry and comradery and by the end felt sad that all was lost.
If you feel a bit overwhelmed by the beginning, stick with it to get to the good juicy stories within.
