i don’t knowww…but sth about this book didn’t quite sell it for me.
yes, i did enjoy reading and i did like the whole enemies to lovers trope between.. (omg i can’t even remember their names😭) um.. yes! elsie and jack-phew!😂 but i can’t help but feel like it’s missing sth for me and maybe i’ll never really know but that’s fine bc the reading experience was pleasurable.

Did I read this in one sitting? Yes. Did I intend for this to happen? No. Do I regret it? No.

It’s becoming a bit of a reoccurring theme for me to pick up an ali hazelwood book and quite literally be unable to put it down, what should’ve been light reading turned into be binging and completing this book for 5 hours straight.

Was this the most life changing book in the world? No. Did it make me feel unbelievable amounts of happiness and make me believe in love? Yes

This book was so cute, I just can’t get over it - I was entertained that’s all that mattered and it helped me escape my responsibilities so that’s a 5 star in my eyes

also, when men fall first 🫶 when they fall harder 🙏 yes absolutely. give me more sappy contemporary romances because I absolutely need more delusion in my life that this shit is going to happen to me (not)
