*3.5 stars but I’m rounding it down to 3 lol* It’s unfortunate how good Ali is at creating insufferable women. Love, Theoretically was a cute read, but I think that nothing will top The Love Hypothesis :( sigh… I do like the twilight references though!

Actually not the worst rom com novel thank god! Almost every time I got annoyed with the male main character for being a hypocritical misogynist the female main character was also annoyed! Always fun. I also enjoyed a much more realistic take on academia (though I can’t necessarily speak for the hard sciences).

Side note qualms: I did not like how unrealistically clueless she was. She actually annoyed me a lot with the insecurity. Why did she act like diabetes was an eleventh toe.

highly related to elsie in an uncomfortable way, and need a jack in my life (i found him already 🤍). just wish the plot wasn't the same repetitive story
