wasnt great if it wasnt a lando/han adventure i doubt i would of gotten past the beginning but once in the meat of the book was interested
Fun, if a little scattered. Lando steals the show.
I really enjoyed seeing the different time periods explored in this book, while they ultimately contributed to the same plot line, it was interesting to see the different relationships between the same characters.
This one took me a bit to get through as I read it on audio and only when I had time between client manuscripts but it's such a great addition to the SW canon that I found myself getting frustrated when I couldn't go back to it for one reason or another. It became my "reward read" for finishing tasks and boy was it a great reward. Doesn't hurt to have the author as narrator too.

I enjoyed the story but I admit the jumping back and forth between time periods was confusing. I admit I finished this in a hurry before I had to return it to the library so I didn't get to take the time to enjoy it as much. I may attempt a re-read sometime later.
One of the worst Star Wars books ever. Insulting, foul-mouthed, juvenile, ridiculous, disgusting. Entirely, completely wrong. No amount of baby Ben Solo saying "Unca Wanwo" could save this.

I already liked Older’s writing, but I didn’t expect to enjoy the hell out of this book, and I totally did. Definitely more of a grown-up tone than much of SW media, which I loved. Just an immense amount of fun and exceedingly well-told.
