Kind of a dumb story, but the character interactions were good. If you are looking for Han and Lando moments or just to read all the Star Wars books there is enough in this book to keep you interested. If you are only interested in the really good Star Wars stories you can skip this one and not miss anything.
Instead of "A Han and Lando Novel", this should be called "A Heroic Lando and Comedy Relief Han Novel." Lando is coool and always the Man With a Plan, while Han stumbles around without a clue about what's going on, his action limited to shooting at whatever targets smarter characters point him to. A great deal is made of getting Chewbacca to join the mission, only to have him completely sidelined at the climax - without showing any reaction of his to a major plot point involving wookiees! Also could have used tighter editing to avoid lazy writing and repetitions such as "...a whole clip of detonators clipped to his belt."
See the movie, then read the book, in that order. Old favorites meet new characters who have a have a breadth of personality and representation. Breaks stereotypes and breathes life into characters of all shapes and sizes.

It was about the time that the book introduces a Gungan that calls people "bro", I knew this book wasn't going to be to my liking.
