I read the first few pages and I thought this was going to be really witty and fun. I was then proved wrong pretty quickly, the vulgarity got really old really quickly. There's only so many times the MC can refer to herself as smelly, fishy, sweaty, rancid, and this book really took the piss. And jizz, and squirt.

The sex scenes were extremely brief and the female MC just came "over and over again" within a sentence, after some sex that sounded mostly painful instead of erotic. And back to the hygiene, I don't think a condom or safe sex was mentioned once throughout despite the multiple casual partners? But razor burn was everytime!

Another thing that really pissed me off was the constant fat phobia. It was never funny, and the MC seemed to be "overweight" and "fat and ugly" one week and then the next after binging junk food during a depressive period everyone is praising her being a "skinny malinky". It was doubly ridiculous as the author let's us know in the first 30 odd pages that the MC is a size 12, just to let the reader know she's not actually fat teehee!! She's only Bridget Jones fat, which is not at all teehee!! Give me a break.

What a great light-hearted page turning read. It was funny and just the sort of book I’d needed after some heavier reads prior.

This is honestly one of the funniest books I have ever read. I read it whilst on holiday and it had me laughing out loud.
