4.5 stars because I wish it was longer. I'm actually still a bit red in the face (bless my pale skin) and I have the urge to giggle and giggle until my tummy hurts (bless my immaturity, yet somehow all I ever seem to read is erotica). It was good, it was erotica, and it was cheeky and fun and even though I'm not a fan of the cover it was really great!

Meh.

I confess: I like reading about control games. They can be totally hot if balanced with genuine emotion between characters and if the games fulfill some deep need for each party. But I never felt quite like Dorm Game got there; there wasn't enough sex to call it erotica, and not enough emotion to call it romance. Not really sure what this was.

Also worth noting that there's no on page sex - merely a couple of hand jobs, BJs, and two or three kisses.

It was good. But I just got sick, early on, of everything being a game to Andrew.

It was interesting to see the game (relationship) evolve between the two guys. It left me curious about both characters and why Andrew was so hellbent on the games. I think it could have been better if it was a little longer and went deeper into the characters and their situation. Other than that, it was a pretty good read.

3.25-4.00 stars. I remember it, yet it's not a stand out unless I'm thinking about how game theory is really applicable to life (like when I'm watching Big Brother USA and I'm thinking about showmances, and opportunities won & lost. I'm bad at playing the game, also when I'm thinking of dare kinks & the intensity of youth sexuality a la frat boys, although the book wasn't like humiliation kink so... not heavy on the porn). this whole series is memorable.

This novella was fine, but it felt like it was a few scenes taken out of a longer book and combined to make it into this novella.

Andrew and Michael don’t really get to know each other, and they don’t do anything outside of hanging out in Michael’s room.

There aren’t any side characters and there wasn’t really a plot.

Also, this tiny book takes place over a year or two and that definitely isn’t shown.

This novella was fine, but it wasn’t for me as nothing actually happened in it and there was no character development.

Good, just not great for me. Wasn't feeling the characters and the chemistry as much.

This was fantastic. The games and manipulation tactics aren't even my thing but this was still fantastic. I love an M/M Romance or Erotica that is extremely well-written. Andrew and Michael had layers to them. I read through this story in one sitting. I loved seeing how the games they played developed. I loved seeing the characters relationship develop over time. I just enjoyed this so much.

The chemistry between the characters was so strong. The furthest the two go on the page is oral. There isn't full on sex in the story but it's still very erotic.

I was given a copy of this book by the author in exchange for am honest review.

Having read 3 of Daryl's other books, I had to ask if I didn't to be made aware if this book would make me sob in public because both Dead of Winter and Outlier: Rebellion caused such reactions. I was going to be around people, and I had to be sure!

...turns out that is NOT what I needed to worry about while in public. Because, gawd damn. This book has some shmexiness.

By some, I mean a lot.

And now I've been sucked into YET ANOTHER series by Daryl Banner. Damn him and his epicness.
