Art is subjective
Poetry even more so.
For me, this ain't it.

There are some of these poems stuck in my heart now. I found several particularly moving, especially when thinking of the love in my life. I will probably come back to this book again and again.

A great follow up to his first collection! I enjoyed all of the haikus, though some hit harder than others. I look forward to his next collection!

Not only are the haiku wonderful, but the book is visually stunning as well. All the Words are Yours is certainly worth the read, especially if you are looking to break up some really dense novels you’re in the middle of. Perfect to pick up and read one haiku a day to help start your morning off right.

Another great read from Tyler Knott Gregson. His poetry is always amazing and lets you feel what he feels. You can tell his poems come from the heart and that he really puts a lot of emotion into his writing. Thats what makes a poetry book amazing. What really stood out to me is how well he did at making haikus. They're not that easy to make but Gregson's haikus read like they're the most simplest thing in earth to write. He is easily one of my favourite poets

I don't write poetry, but I have a very high standard for it, and this collection is a joke. The photographs are awesome, and the aesthetic is nice, but this guy doesn't write poetry: he just strings together words that evoke memories and reactions from his readers. It's nice that this book has brought joy into people's lives, and some of these haikus had merit, but overall, there was no artistry or depth. Because a haiku is too short for any extrapolation or story, the "poems" were just the same five thoughts repeated in slightly different words until the book mercifully ended. This is not artistry. This is making a quick buck off people who want to feel literary and cultured by enjoying "poetry" that isn't art, doesn't say anything of substance, but pushes the right instant gratification buttons to make people feel something.

The words written so beautiful,

But it's gone in flitting seconds,

Like the words never exist.

That's my problem with haiku. May be because it's too short to tug my heart and make an impression. My problem.
