In term of erotic thriller, this books gave the right ambience. Deanna was extremely pretty and sexy, and at the same time, the insides of her mind was extremely disturbing and haunting. She was the epitome of the anti-heroine people will root for, and even though this book definitely has a problem with its pacing, I stayed because of her. She's just that alluring, and leaving me wanting for more.

But for the aspect of thriller itself, this book was so lacking. Deanna was a wasted potential in this one. With a character like her, the author could provide a more brutal and bloody storyline which would suit the intense buildup since the beginning. It's too bad, actually.

Still, I'll read the next two books. I wonder what would became of Deanna and the potential hero.

Well, this book was just weird. I don't know where I originally read the synopsis for this book but it was not what I expected. The sex cam thing IMO didn't add to the plot but caused more of a distraction.

An interesting concept for a book. I enjoyed it. The book had very short chapters of 1-3 pages each (83 total), so that made it easy to read, but it also made the first 1/3 of the book a little choppy. It took longer to develop a feel for or connection to the characters. I would have liked some more development of the main character, Deanna. It seemed a little rushed/forced to make her into an uncontrollable killer even with her backstory. But overall, still a decent book. Good suspense. Good balance of spice. An obviously well-researched story too.

This isn't what I expected... after reading the blurb, for SOME REASON, I got a sci-fi vibe

This thriller had me in a choke hold. I picked it up and didn't put it down until I was finished. It was fast pased with multiple POVs. You get a dash or romance sprinkled in, and I personally enjoyed that aspect. For it being on the shorter side, it was a well constructed and complete plot.
