The last in the trilogy brought in both old drama and new, with a couple twists that I'd like to address. The bigger twist felt dragged out a little bit, but I also read all three books in a weekend, so maybe it was me, but I felt like it could have been unwoven a bit more quickly to keep up pace. The second twist was settled kind of but not really and felt rushed, too easy. That being said, those were two pieces in a bigger, beautiful puzzle, so I'm still giving this one 4 stars because it is not only a great book, itself, but it does everything you want the last of a trilogy to do. Very good read!
Fans of the series Throne of Glass, Defy, and the like will enjoy these.

Thank goodness this ended how I wanted it to!

Super pleased with the right amount of steamy without getting inappropriate or obnoxious. (I hate too much of a good thing)

Now this is how you finish off a trilogy! All you other YA writers who tend to let your series fizzle out into mediocrity need to take several notes.

I can honestly say I love everything about this book. I was into The Winer's Curse but The Winner's Crime had suffered second book syndrome for me rather heavily. I had pretty much expected that my enjoyment of the first book was just a fluke and that I was going to struggle my way through this book just wishing for it to end. That was not the case. Not by a long shot.

Finally, I will go down with the Kestrel/Arin ship. It's been a hot minute since a YA couple really had this sort of chemistry. Bless them. Bless this book. Bless the writer.

It can be a bumpy ride at times but this series is definitely recommended.

What a perfect ending to my favorite series

I have mixed thoughts on this one, though I enjoyed it. It concludes the series perfectly, too.
slow-paced

An absolutely satisfying end to an incredible trilogy. I feel happy yet sad to have finished this series and wish I could go back to May of last year when I first read The Winner's Curse in an airport when I needed a distraction to soothe my anxiety.
