The Robb story is a typical Eve Dallas one. I enjoyed the story by Pat Gaffney, but possibly in large part because it features a dog :) The other two stories I started and gave up on.

review for Missing in Death: This one was too short for the amount of story she was trying to tell. Especially with the tie ins with Summerset there seemed to be so much more she could have gone into, but chose instead to limit herself to 70 or so pages.

Robb's title in this was quite good; you're able to get involved with the characters and enjoy the story without having read others in the Eve Dallas series. Other short stories I had to skip through though, with a great deal of gagging and eye rolling. I love a good romance, but one of those in the middle? Made me want to claw my eyes out.

Nothing special, really.

Some of the collections JD Robb has headlined in the past have been frustrating for me because I haven't been fond of the other three stories, and who wants to keep a collection for just one thing?

I was relieved to enjoy the other stories in this--particularly Gaffney's--almost as much as I enjoyed Robb's, which is awesome as always.
