Jazz is a transgender child. This picture book explains the feelings and experiences of a transgender child. It is co-written by a thirteen-year-old transgender child, and both authors are affiliated with TransKids Purple Rainbow Foundation. The story is written to help children see a transgender child as just another child.
Different is Good
This is a wonderful and simple way to address transgender for children and adults. A beautiful family a beautiful soul, and a beautifully written and illustrated book.

It’s hard to believe that such a sweet story about normalizing differences and being a decent human being can be on *BANNED* lists, but here we are.
Lovely illustrations too!

This book is about Jazz, who is transgender. It talks about her struggles as a little one and how her family reacted. Jazz has gone on to have a TV show about her life (not in the book, but kids might know her from that )
