I learned a lot about E.B. White, and had a great time doing it! I loved the way it was written and the illustrations. Definitely recommend.

This was a beautifully told story of a beloved author who lived a quiet, private life. While told for children, this biography holds many details to engage adults as well. The artwork is stunning and appropriate; however, I did find myself struggling on a few pages to focus and glean the intended information.

Wow! I have only turned a few pages, but this book is wonderfully beautiful & creative! I'm impressed!

UPDATE: I was so amazed by this book (just the first chapter) that I decided I must own it. I ordered it. With the help of a co-worker, I decided to return this copy to the library & wait for my copy to arrive before going any deeper.

Such an adorable book! I am now inspired to re-read White's books.

An excellent children's biography (although it is 176 pages, not a short picture book). I loved the artwork and the layout. So creative and perfectly fit. She picked out great stories and quotes, just the right amount of info. A fun read for both the mind and the eyes.

Excellent!!! Beautiful format to frame the powerful biography. Page 132 has the most inspiring piece about hope.

A unique biography - it's beautifully illustrated. I liked reading about the making of Charlotte's Web.
