Cute book about not wanting to go back to school. Deals with a lot of the things kids feel and encourages them to be brave.

Imaginative and fun book, with some thought put into what Bigfoot would need for school and what that might look like. Good for the reluctant school go-er.

Would work well as a back to school read aloud in lower grades.

Neo thought this one would look good, choosing to read it to me one afternoon. Bigfoot has to think about going back to school and all the hassle that will be. New clothes, a haircut, worries about fitting in, and trying not to make a mess. When it comes time, he has scared himself into not wanting to go, but reflects on what he is missing. By the end, he has made up his mind, in hopes of having chosen properly. Neo was baffled as to why Bigfoots (??) go to school, but laughed at some of the illustrations.
