I fell in love with the Goon Squad the moment I read book 1, so I've been waiting for Oliver's book and I love him and Emery alot! We got has to woo his wife trope y'all! After they have an oops we got drunk and got married moment in Vegas.
This works as a standalone but I'd say to read from book 1. You'll get a much deeper understanding of the guys' relationships with each other which plays a big role in who Oliver is as a person.
Emery was great! She's a bi biracial badass and I'm not saying there's a moment she might have used a strap on but i'm not not saying that either??? *cough* she did *cough*. Watching these two navigate this interesting relationship was fun and steamy. All the fire emoji!! Have some cold water nearby.
Anyhooooo, the ending really got to me and almost made me cry. It was perfect. I don't want to spoil anything for those who haven't read the entire series. But it came full circle and i'm satisfied.
