I gave it my best but no one speaks or acts realistically. I called it when the main character cries of laughter because her roommate presents her with a dead fish and says “I got you a bouquet.” Cue Kurtis Connor millennial finger.

3.5 stars. I’m looking forward to reading more by this author - I loved the beginning and middle, but it fell apart for me a little at the end. Fun to see emerging talent from my alma mater
