The world will be a much better place if everyone reads the Heartstopper series and learns a thing or two from them. I still wish this series could exist when I was younger. This volume explores the intimacy between Nick and Charlie more deeply, and it also discusses more "grown-up" topics like when one is supposed to take the next step in a relationship, what to consider when choosing a university, and the possibility of a long-distance relationship. I love how Charlie and Nick are both learning to communicate better with people around them, and seeing them grow more mature while constantly having each other as a safe space warms my heart. I also adore how the supporting characters all discuss sexual-related topics in a light and positive way instead of portraying it as an awkward or shameful discussion. I just feel like such an approach could have a good influence on the younger readers. The only thing that made me deduct one star was the art style. Not sure if it's because my taste is changing, but I keep feeling that this volume's art style is less detailed.
