Wow. Lucia displays immense vulnerability, empathy and strength in this partial memoir. A poignant and comforting read for women and non-binary folks. An urgent read for men.

My body keeps your secrets contributes to the growing literature on shame and the body- it inhabits the important space between quantitative and qualitative research. Beautifully written, this book has deeply affected me.

this book was incredibly inspiring but i could not sit through reading it in a week. it made me rethink my entire existence as a woman and the way i carry myself in this world and that is terrifying to encounter but it was essential
