"Follow me in"

brb changing my name to Autumn Crow. Yes, that is an actual character name in the book, and I desperately want more information about her! What would happen if she came back from the dead? Tell me more!

This was a short story collection where I enjoyed every story. I'm not even sure I could pick a favourite, they were all so evocative of the spooky season. Is it wrong I want to live in Autumncrow? "In Autumncrow, you didn't have to look back on your childhood memories of Halloween in sad remembrance." I mean, when you put it that way...

or "a world made of cobblestone idewalks, of redbrick houses and Tudor mansions, of gravestones and apple tres, of leaf-strewn roads that wound down valley hills, of cornfields and black cats and glow-in-the-dark paper skeletons." Does that not capture the very essence of Halloween, that feeling of wholesomeness that can so easily turn to scares, to danger? The palpable anticipation of it, like the very chill in the air? When I say this is a perfect Halloween read, I mean it. So glad I bought this one so I can read it every year!

Such an awesome collection of novellas and short stories. I really liked how Cameron made the town of AutumnCrow a character and the theme throughout his stories. He has a way of making you feel at home and yet scaring the crap out of you.

I well and truly enjoyed this book from beginning to end, the stories were varied and imaginative, also autumncrow (the town most of the stories are set in) was so well realised that I could imagine you could just write a whole book about the people and creatures of the little town of autumncrow without sounding bland

Highly recommended if you like halloween or spooky stuff

This is a nice collection of short stories with a good variety of stories, ranging from sweet to creepy with everything in between.

This is the perfect cosy and creepy Halloween read. The best thing about this collection of short stories is that they all take place in or around the mysterious town of Autumncrow. Each of the stories breathe life into the town, giving it depth and history. It perfectly captures the spirit of Halloween, both fun and macabre.

This was a fun anthalogy of Halloween tales set in the spooky town of Autumncrow. I enjoyed how the stories tied into each other but I do wish there had been more of that as it is always neat when stories can tie in with one another. Overall this was a great spooky season read!

This collection of stories was a lot of fun. I really enjoyed the writing and that each story was different...but also connected. There isn't anything especially scary here as an adult...but fun, spooky vibes for sure. Glad I read this and I would recommend. Free on Kindle Unlimited.
