Daniel Siegel & Tina Bryson are now two of my top favourite authors.

What they talk about/share just makes so much sense, and I love how they continually express that what they're talking about isn't "permissive parenting" but rather a parenting style in sure many of us wish we had.

I am now really looking forward to reading they're other books!

I also love that they read the audio book themselves :)

Really great practical advice, and good research-backed suggestions on how to be present for your children. Focused on offering “PEACE”: presence, engagement, affection, calm, and empathy when they are upset to help them feel safe, soothed, secure, and seen.

An inspiring book about the importance of showing up for our children to make them feel safe, seen, soothed, and therefore secure. I enjoyed listening to both Dr. Siegel (MD) and Dr. Bryson (Ph.D) share their science-backed perspectives and suggestions of how to show up for our children. This book is informative while still being approachable. I would recommend to any child caregiver.
