3.5⭐️

After a drunk and disorderly mishap, Genevieve flees town without a word to her on-again, off-again boyfriend Evan. A year later and she’s back, sober, and trying to prove she has her shit together. She knows that getting back with Evan is a bad idea — he was her true partner in crime back in her party days — so Evan tries to prove that she’s not the only one who can change.

This was a cute second chance romance, though I really wish we’d had more of a buildup of their relationship in the past. It was hard to connect to their relationship and why they really couldn’t stay away from each other.

3.2⭐️ this wasn’t my favorite Elle Kennedy book. It just felt like an average romance novel. I guess I just didn’t really care very much about the characters
