There's nothing like the story of a pet outwitting its human.
Fun story with some repetition and a surprise ending. Would be perfect for story time. Highly recommended for ages 4-6.
I really enjoyed the repetitive phrase in this book. It would be a fun read-aloud!
Honestly, I would react the same. I would at first be unhappy that I got a chicken but if that chicken was then a genius and could build me things then I would be so happy I got a chicken as a present.
A girl wants to go to the amusement park for her birthday but instead her abuela gives her a chicken who builds an entire amusement park.
A birthday present of a chicken started as unwanted gift. As the story progresses the girl discoveres the chicken is a lot of fun than she originally thought. A little on the long side so it would be better as an elementary read aloud.
I am totally asking for a chicken for my next birthday.
