learning Sadako’s backstory was definitely interesting. i’m glad we got some insight to her as a character which i felt was lacking in the previous books, especially book 1 & 2. even though the series itself is alright, i do really like the supernatural idea of Sadako cursing a video tape- she is a pretty neat villain. idk about the science route the series decides to take…it was a choice. also, i found being in Mai & Reiko’s POV fine- a women’s POV for once! when i tell you i was tired of these men like….

The first of these Ring manga I've read that's based solely on Suzuki's writings. The art's still not great but at least it's more like the original stories.
