I was disappointed <spoilers> when the magic diary aka the book of tomorrow </spoilers> wasn't mentioned earlier in the book and not more than 4 times.
The story was slow and I couldn't relate with the characters, it revolves around anger, pain, jealousy, grief, secret, suspension, hatred, arrogance. I was so disappointed, that I almost discontinued with the book. But I kept reading because the end most time's save the book.
But I did love how the book details how people overcome grief

A charming, magical little story. I wasn’t entirely satisfied with the ending and the reasoning behind some characters decisions, but overall I really enjoyed reading this book. A little fantasy, a little romance, and some mystery. An imperfect main character - which is a breath of fresh air compared to some of the little Mary Sues that are so common in stories like this.

Read this in 5 hours today. Devoured it. Very unexpected ending! I love all of Ahern's books.

A quick mysterious read I enjoyed.

This one took me a little while to get into, but once I was in, I couldn't put it down. I haven't read a Cecelia Ahern that I didn't like.
