Well, I did get the explenation I needed. Do I understand the book now? No, I don't. Cecelia's books usually carry meaning, you learn something after reading them. But i don't know what was the meaning in this book. It was jsut very confusing and messy. It wasn't exactly bad, but nothing I need reading again.
This audiobook was a treat. I didn’t have a specific assumption about what it would be about, yet I was pleasantly surprised. Tamara Goodwin has some sass. She is funny, witty and sarcastic. She’s in an awkward phase in her life. She has endured so many changes in her life all at the same time. What teen wouldn’t get sassy and freaked out. Mild swearing. Mild sexual content.

Very interesting story I enjoyed it :) Kept me reading
I liked this book. It was good and it shocked at some times that I had to close the book and think what I've just read through. Still I thought the big and main event at the end was quite predictable. And the ending was lovely too.
Oh my gosh, I loved this book! Drama, secrets, intrigue... and a bratty teen learning to act like a real human being! Cecelia Ahern is a great author, I love how she incorporates writing into so many of her books. Sweet, engrossing read!
I thought this was going to be a fantasy story, and though there are fantastic elements, it is much more of a coming of age tale.
A cute book (is it YA?), and though the main character is a teenager and therefore self-involved, a good story line overall. I might have seen some of the hints to the real mystery if I was reading a physical copy, but seeing as it was my commuting book, some seemingly obvious clues may have passed me by. The narrator did an excellent job - I could have listened to her lovely raspy Scottish accent for a lot longer. 3 1/2 stars
I was really looking forward to reading this book and it didn't disappoint. It is one of those books that is just 'unputdownable'. I'm a fan of Cecelia Ahern and have read most of her novels; I do find that she tends to write a couple of good novels and then there's one that's not so good. This book is one of my favourites, I loved it from start to finish. It's comforting to read a fairytale for grown-ups where things aren't always easy but it all comes right in the end - sometimes that's just what you need from a novel.
I liked this book. I thought that the development of the main character through her trials was believable and the plot was interesting.
