A great resource on how to discuss race and identify everyday racism - would highly recommend.

I wasn't sure what to expect from this book and was impressed with what I found.  The author goes through hot topic issues related to racism, lifts up common responses or (mis) understandings, and addresses those head on.She challenges readers to confront how they have thought about these things.  Additionally she provides ways the reader can address these things in conversation with others. It is easily accessible and written for a wide audience without any prior education on racial issues.  It is targeted primarily to whites, but would also be a helpful book for people of color to know how they can respond to racism and to examine how they may perpetuate racism against racial/ ethnic groups they do not belong to.

I learned so much from this book and I'd recommend it to all my white friends. Let's be better.
