I'm surprised this book has so many negative reviews? Sure the concept might be infuriating for some, but I don't believe they gave this book a fair shot. Jess falls in love with someone who she tried really hard not to fall for - and now she has to learn what that means in the face of the 2016 election. There are a lot of politically driven conversations in this book, which could possibly be a turn off for some, but I enjoyed removing myself from my own life to hear more about how another young 20 year old is figuring out her life, her values, and her dreams.
