When my friend told me that this book was better than the first one, I had a really tough time believing her. After finishing it, I will say she was totally right! This book was incredible, and had a couple of twists that I wasn't expecting whatsoever.
At first, the story felt like a little bit of a repeat from the first book, but then midway through I realized that this was an entirely different plot. The character development was gripping, the writing was solid, and the story was really fun to read through. I can't wait for the third book in the series to come out in June! Highly recommend this series.

Fast-paced with just enough depth to keep me hooked, I flew through this bad boy in a day and honestly liked it better than the first - it was far less predictable, with characters you truly get what they deserve.
Millie has big June vibes to me, with a little soul crushing victim mentality thrown in for good measure.
All in all, enjoyable. A quick read that will definitely pull you out of your slump.
