• The sequel to The Housemaid was just as mind blowing as the first one and it’s definitely one of those books that aren’t easily forgettable! 

• I often questioned if I’d like it as much as the first one while I was reading it because there were some resemblances and I thought that I had the twist figured out but I didn’t see that ending coming at all!! I don’t remember much tbh because I read this months ago but all I remember is that I yelled “what the actual fuck” at the end and that’s a sign of a good thriller imo 

• I didn’t rate it 5⭐️ because the ending seemed a bit far fetched but I’d still highly recommend it if you loved The Housemaid and I’m patiently waiting for the third book!!

another win in the Freida McFadden department. this book was amazing, and of course had me hooked from the beginning. i’m obsessed with the fact that she never fails to write twists that you NEVER see coming!! can’t wait to start another read by her.

Follows an almost identical structure to 'The Housemaid'. It was written so that you didn't get any spoilers if you haven't read 'The Housemaid' but this made the writing style feel forced at times. Definitely not as good as its prequel.
