Another fantastic thriller! This time around I guessed some, but not all of the plot twists! I could not put this book down!

Is the sequel to the housemaid but is 90% the same book and that is kind of annoying because all the twists are right there and have no shock value. Hesitant to read the third book when that comes out later this year.

The first book was better and made more sense to me. I did predict some of the twists due to
chekhov’s gun.
I’m so glad we got to see Millie happy and with some good people in her life, even if her jobs can be dangerous. Ultimately a bittersweet ending all around but happy for Millie. I’m curious to read the next book in the series when it comes out to see if it follows the same formula. I feel like this book was more predictable than the first for me, although I’ll say I’m not usually a thriller reader so maybe they’re all like that. I probably won’t reread because the fun of thrillers are the plot twists.
