Jun Mochizuki a fait un travail exceptionnel en s'inspirant d'Alice aux pays des merveilles tout en ajoutant des personnages uniques.
L'intrigue est comme un puzzle qu'on construit petit à petit jusqu'au moment où un personnage fout tout par terre. Il faut alors retourner chaque pièce et les assembler de nouveau mais dans un autre sens pour découvrir une toute autre histoire.

I had mixed feelings about this one. Over all it’s pretty good but occasionally the action is a bit muddy. Oz Vessalius is turning 15 and is about to celebrate his coming of age (though he’s drawn tiny, very shota). Oz is destined to be duke but he’d rather hang out with his friends and servant, a girl named Gilbert. While exploring the mansion which is now reserved only for coming of age celebrations, Oz finds an odd watch. However the celebration doesn’t go as planned and Oz is kidnapped and thrown into the eternal abyss which is a prison. He doesn’t know why and while fighting for his life he’s tempted to make a deal with the black rabbit, a demon-like girl but will that be a fate worse than the Abyss.
I do like Oz. He’s an interesting character. Black Rabbit rather annoyed me and like I said, there is some muddled scenes but overall it was pretty enjoyable, enough that I’ll go looking for #2.
ETA - yes yes I know Gil isn't a girl. I maintain from the editing I read you can not tell that, probably due to misplaced word balloons

Wow..It was a tough ride..
The story was complex and characters were interesting.. I liked Oz, and of course Alice )) I want to dive in this manga and find answers..
The story gave me ideas about my own story...
And I hope the artwork gets better too..
Overall, 5 complex stars!

I remember the first time I got the first volume in my hands. BEST. DECISION. OF. MY. LIFE. I didn't expect this kind of complex and beautifully crafted story-line. I didn't expect I would become addicted to the manga and connect deeply to the characters that much. I didn't expect to cry over their sadness and happiness of these characters. My lovely characters: OZ, ALICE, GILBERT, BREAK, SHARON, VINCENT, ECHO, REIM, OSCAR, ELLIOT, LEO, ADA <3
The other great characters :Xai, Lacie, Jack, Barma, Glen, Lottie ))
I learned so much from the story and from characters. I cherish the days and nights I read the manga so hungrily to know what will happen to them. I loved every sentence, every picture of it. The artwork was perfect! Without doubt, It will be my favorite manga ever!
I am so sad that some characters died
I am happy for redemption some characters got/ Jack and Glen for example..and Vincent became kind and he even
The ending was bittersweet. I did like it. I am both happy and sad at the same time.
