If I wrote this book and turned it into my English teacher, she would flunk me for the "boring and bland" language. Don't even get me started on the overdescription of everything that reminds me of 2014 Harry Styles Wattpad fanfiction where the girl spends seven pages explaining how she dresses every day.

This whole book is just a dude being salty that his former love won't be with him because she likes sex and he doesn't have balls (literally). I have, however, read this book multiple times because it helps me go to sleep at night - IT'S SO BORING.

Brett is so thirsty for a 19 year old when she's 34?? Dude, you're married to a dude and engaged to another and now you want to fuck a 19 year old?? Uhhhhhhhhh

I never write reviews on Goodreads but I felt compelled to because of how strong my hatred runs. If only I could give 0 stars to a book. I read this solely as an AP lit assignment and I have no freaking clue how to write an analysis in a book where NOTHING happens. What do I talk about? Garlic necklaces? Bulls not having balls? Romero's green pants?

Although Brett’s character was somewhat flat, sort of like a Bond girl, I really enjoyed this book. So little was said and yet you could intensely feel every emotion. A genuinely funny book too. It read like a film.
