Its good but it's very slow and only got my heart racing when I was nearly finished. Its no where near as good as the first book Twilight.

Midnight Sun made me want to reread this. This book is a melodramatic mess. I remember this book being the one I liked least when I read the series originally. I did like the scenes with Jacob much more this time around - Edward definitely loses his appeal as you realise how creepy and manipulative he is.
I will always find the empty pages with the months written on them absolutely hilarious. I aspire to be that dramatic after a break up. If anything this book could be a self help guide on how not to deal with heartbreak.
One star for pure nostalgia - these books will always give me the ability to time travel right back to being 12/13 again.

I hated this book so much and it got me in a slump. The writing style was so akward and i cant relate to bella at all. This just didnt made any sense, the only thing that got me trough this book was the promise that i would read ruin and rising next. I feel like r&r is gonna break my hart

honestly i enjoyed it. the only reason i’m ranking it 3 and not 3.5 or 4 is that when edward came back i was reminded by how ANNOYING bella and his relationship is. i actually like edward as a character but then together (and bella in general)? just no. bella is fine i guess a little annoying but bearable. but when it comes to edward? girl get a grip. i hate how much i love this series
