cute! a fluffy little read about a queer teen throwing a coming out party in lieu of a sweet sixteen. It was definitely corny at times and everything just seemed to work itself out an awful lot, but it's a YA so I can't really be too mad. there were a few things that I thought could have turned out a lot darker

(I legit thought mom was gonna die or reject her at one point)

but then I remembered I'm reading a happy YA and not everything has to be so dark and depressing lol. I feel like there are kids who will read this who really need a book like this so that makes me happy
