Well well well what an unexpected enjoyable read. Not my typical book by any means but his writing is brilliant, the characters were brought to life so well and I stayed intrigued and invested the whole way through. Something about the ending went amiss but I think I understand what he was trying to do!

I was surprised to find myself absolutely fascinated by this book, right to the twist at the very end. Perhaps because I’m generally interested in the Catholic Church and all her mysterious ceremony, or perhaps because Harris knows how to craft a story. Either way, it was worth the read
