The weakest book in the series so far, but still an incredible addition to the series. I loved the exploration of a christmas special and what that means for a detective in a mystery series. It was also nice to see more characters from the first book make an appearance.

I had loved the First book so so so much but the second was a disappointment for me, however, this one redeems itself by being every bit as fun and engaging as the first!

Story was slow moving; had a lot of moving parts but didn’t seem to get anywhere. I wasn’t fond of any of the characters or the plot, so it didn’t make sense to finish something I didn’t care about. I also don’t care for the writing style, with the narrator often stating what he will do, then coming back saying “see, told you so.”

Is it acceptable to call murder mystery book delightful? Love the "advent calendar" chapter reading for this book... but I still read it in one day.
