The solution came out of nowhere and I'm pretty sure I've forgotten everything that happened in the book. Bland and boring.

Who doesn't love a Christmas special - especially one where the protagonist learns the true meaning of Christmas? ;)

This advent-calendar mystery is probably the weakest of the three Ernest books, but there are still fun characters, plenty of plot twists, and a reliable narrator that pulls it all together.

Wish there was more Juliette/Ern, but I suppose that will come in the next book. Wedding murder next?

I love the Ernest Cunningham series!!! They are so fun and easy to read, especially this one for this time of year!! It’s supposed to be read as an advent calendar but I didn’t know that and started it too late
