I loved The Break and was so excited for this book, but I couldn’t finish it. It bounced around between characters too much. I often forgot who was who and how they were related. I referenced the family tree at the front of the book, but just couldn’t keep myself interested. It’s unfortunate, because I really wanted to know what happened to Phoenix and Cedar.
