I love morally gray men

None of the previous books in this series have made me tear up or shed tears. King of Envy made me do BOTH! The dialogue, the tension, the conflict, the suspense, the characters and relationships; they were all so beautifully crafted and stellar that I just couldn't get enough as I became quickly enthralled in the world of Vuk Markovic and Ayana Kidane.

Firstly, I will never grow tired of Huang creating interracial couples. As a Black woman myself, I love seeing POC being represented, especially in a positive light! Huang created these two main characters with such detail and care that I hopelessly fell for both of them. Their personalities and growth were wonderful to witness as they grew to be better people for themselves and each other.

I don't see how Huang expects me to go on in life after this masterpiece. A book I thought was maybe 200 pages too long, quickly became my favorite book in this series thus far! Yes, it even knocked King of Pride out of first place. I found it that amazing!

And Vuk? Yeah he truly is the epitome of yearnism! This man had me kicking my feet, twirling my hair, giggling, and slamming the book closed to collect myself. Huang was right in saying that this book is the smuttiest one yet in the series. My cheeks were flush from the dirty talk that traveled off of Vuk's tongue. But it was so well done that there was never a moment that the smut was out of place or distasteful, which I very much appreciated!

To wait until 2026 for the next book will be nothing but pain. Huang really outdone herself with this book and has me foaming at the mouth for the next installment in this series! I can't wait to keep diving deeper into the King of Sins universe!

I really enjoyed this story. It was romantic and swoony. But also had mystery, intrigue, fake dating, and best friend’s girl. I enjoyed all the aspects of the story
