The cat being a plot device that resolves the main conflict was a crazy choice, but okay.

Typical Ana Huang fashion, a nice and easy read that I can do throughout my rough semester of locking in. Can’t ever go wrong, but it’s a pretty repetitive storyline. Then again, I don’t expect profound writing when it comes to these books, just a good time.

Ayana and Vuk’s story
It’s definitely helpful to know the backstories of the side characters but this can be read as a standalone.
It’s a bit on the long side for how slow the plot moved. But there is a lot of intrigue and plot points beyond the romance. Ayana is in a predatory modeling contract and Vuk is dealing with his problematic past coming back to haunt him a bit.

All you need in this world to be happy is a hot introverted man - also LOVE Ayana girl is a badass, smart beautiful and kindddd no wonder that man was down bad - also shout out to Jordan for taking one from the team (TWICE) poor mans was going through it he’s the real mvp

- He had everything he cloud’ve wanted … except her.

I think i’m actually in love with Vuk. This man is actually perfect, he only smiles for her, if he talks it’s most of the time only to her and my dude has his own cat that actually saved his and Ayana’s lives. He is the perfect dark romance boyfriend. I love how obsessed he is with her and did not want to ruin the engagement until he found out they didn’t love each other. This man was willing to pay 120 million dollars so the marriage wouldn’t happen.

I love it! I've been wanting to read this book since last year, and I finally got to finish it in just four days. I adore the characters, especially Ayana :)

However, it didn't meet my expectations, which is why it's not a 5-star review from me. I had thought Vuk fell in love with Ayana because maybe she is included on his past, but it isn't HUHU. Also, I was hoping Ayana would pursue a different career from what she had gone through, but oh well.

Overall, I still love this book. I adore their chemistry and, most importantly, the characters themselves. And Roman >< I can't wait for him to have his own book. Anna Huang, please???

4 estrellas.

Probably my least favorite of the kings of sin. I liked Ayana, but wasn’t a huge fan of Vuk. Kinda waited for that moment where he grew on me. It’s wasn’t terrible but not good either. 2,5 stars
