Didn’t like the writing style, thought it was overly flowery, trying to hard to be quotable. Took me out the story

The writing style is different and it look me a bit of time to get used it to - it is kind of a collection of memories / feelings that follow 3 different timelines.

The story itself felt like more of a biography about the struggles of when a working class girl goes to uni. I found it very relatable and I think that is why I have given it 4 stars.
