I mean these are not my thing but I can't let a series go unfinished.

Katee Robert does it again!

This wicked villains novel is a twist on Beauty and the Beast and I am here for EVERY second of it! Two hot, hunky men fighting over a princess? Yes please. A sexy two agreement to decide who wins? Yes please. A no clothes rule and a visit to club Underworld? Pass me my popcorn.

This book was so good. The background of each character was explained and they all tied in to each other beautifully. Nothing felt forced and even though you know what the ending is, you aren’t such how they will get there. I loved it and the spoiler for the next book in the series was good!

Katee Robert always delivers on the sexual chemistry between bher characters and this book was no different. It was engaging and enjoyable to hear about all the different characters and their sexual appetites.

As stated in my review of book 1, I enjoy plot with my smut, and while the books after 1 were better in my opinion, this one completely goes backwards. I enjoyed the MMF relationship shown, the way “Belle” got both Beast and “Gaston” in this one. But I think I can count on one hand how many pages did not involve smut. While it was certainly spicy, it’s just a lot. The relationship stuff basically got figured out by the midway point and the plot at the end felt like a brief add-on. It made for the second half to be quite repetitive and even boring.

My biggest issue with this story is the way
Gaeton starts randomly calling Isabelle by his safeword (Rose). It especially felt problematic when he uttered it during a spicy moment.
