Talia Hibbert truly never misses! I'm sad to be done with the Brown sisters series because they're all so enjoyable. I loved the sunshine-golden retriever/grumpy-cat pairing and enemies-to-lovers trope in this book, and I found the banter in this book the most fun and entertaining out of all the books in the trilogy. The spicy content was also the spiciest out of all three books I think, as well. I appreciated the two explorations of each character's experience of autism and loved how they support each other no matter what. I felt that the two conflicts in the second half were unnecessary and too fast in their occurrence since the main characters had just gotten together, but the storyline follows the typical rom-com plot. I'm glad the second conflict didn't last that long - still felt unnecessary but I see why the author did it to ensure that each character was really secure in their personal growth.

I really enjoyed the first half of this novel. The banter between Jacob and Eve is really well done and I think their relationship develops at an appropriate pace. Their interactions with each other are really sweet and cute. The novel veers on having too many characters, especially with Mont's sisters. If the reader hadn't read the previous titles in the series, it would be difficult to keep all the characters straight.
I did not like the miscommunication and 3rd act breakup tropes used at the end of the novel. Unlike the use of these tropes in Get a Life, Chloe Brown, these tropes felt more like they were being used to extend the length of the novel than to explore the characters some more. I found their romantic relationship to be a bit fast for my tastes. They go from strangers to in love in two weeks? Maybe I'm too much of a skeptic, but that feels too fast for me.
I did not like the
