A Touch of Darkness by Scarlett St. Clair

Loved the premise, the tropes, and presence of smut. There were lots of lines/situations that made me genuinely laugh, and it was engaging enough to keep me up until the early hours of the morning reading.

But the writing style and spelling/grammar were really not up to par. It was ACOTAR but written in the style of Ice Planet Barbarians. Adding this to a recently expanding list of "pringles packaged books" (which are basically just books that look really good on the outside, are easy/fun to consume, but overall not very nutritious).

The story itself is a 3/10 but the spice in the book is 9/10.
The story could be better and every conflict could have been avoided by just talking.
