Julia Whelan is an amazing audiobook narrator....and also writer. I loved this contemporary romance. It will tug at your heartstrings but is so worth it. The characters were great and the setting of Oxford is a lot of fun! There is a lot of history and poetry throughout the book that just adds to this novel. I can't wait to see this one come to the screens!

Loved this book, thought it was just going to be a romance but it's so much more. It's about LIFE and love

The narration was good. Some of the British-isms were a bit cringey and I can’t really see British people actually saying that (you can tell it was written by an American) which was my only negative. It was a romance story at its heart but had some other themes like friendship and family ties and also some unexpected plot points. I liked how it ended with the reader ultimately knowing the fate of one of the characters but having it end on a nice note
