I felt bamboozled halfway through but I guess my fault for liking to read books without reading the description. Alas, I love Julia Whelan so I still enjoyed this as a summer read.

First half is sweet and fun and witty, second half takes a sadder turn, but there is a non depressing resolution, so if you like your romance with some sadness, you’ll enjoy.
