I loved this, but just a touch less than The Wager, which kicked off this whole non-fiction moment I'm having. Key takeaways are:

• The Amazon is terrifying and we should never, ever go there ever.
• The things maggots can do to you is ... upsetting. 
• Men make really bad decisions.

I really, really loved the ending. Much more satisfying than The Wager.
