A great audio listen. The book keeps your interest throughout the whole book. Classic love story of a man who never stopped loving his high school crush. He patiently waited until her husband to not treat her life she deserves.

Nicely - paced realistic, romantic fiction. Nothing too outlandish to make the storyline impossible, which is a welcomed relief from the usual hormone-laden romantic fictions out there. Very laid back pace with some sweet, funny moments mixed in. Really enjoyed this light read.

I like all Robyn Carr but this one didn't hit me as much as her other books do.

Claire stops off at the house her and her separated husband lived in while she assumed he was on a work trip. She catches him in their bed with another woman which makes Claire realize that their marriage is dead. To make things worse she is in a car accident on the way home but it turns out to be a good change in her life and for her family. She has a younger extremely handsome cop wanting chasing her, she is working with her father at his store, her son is sullen about his father but getting over it, her past makes an appearance that makes her question her future. Maggie her older sister is dealing with a husband who loves her but hasn't made love to her in months. She has 2 teenage daughters that are turning her hair white. Sarah the youngest sister is getting by in her isolated life until her eyes meet a man that makes her lonely.

I liked that this was not a romance novel between a man and woman but about family and sisters and trying to make sense of it all. A fun read!

This book is about three sisters, Clare, Maggie, and Sarah with the story mostly focusing on Clare and Sarah. Clare is finally divorcing her cheating husband after leaving him three times in the past. Sarah, the youngest sister makes quite a transformation in her search for true love. I thought this was a sweet story about the sisters, I especially liked their relationships with each other. I listened to this book and it was a great for my drives to and from work. Recommend.

Needed this after a long week. Any Thirkell that includes Mrs. Morland is good.
